At Maryada Construction, we believe in creating infrastructure that not only serves the present but also lays a foundation for a better future. One of our most challenging yet rewarding projects has been the construction of school buildings, toilet and water supply facilities, and site development works in 13 schools in Okhaldhunga District, Nepal.
A Landmark Project for Okhaldhunga
The project, commissioned by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Central Level Project Implementation Unit, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, and funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), was more than just a construction endeavor. It was a mission to provide quality education and essential amenities to thousands of students across the hilly terrain of Okhaldhunga.

Our project in Okhaldhunga showcased both the opportunities and difficulties of working in Nepal’s mountainous regions. Despite accessibility issues, harsh weather conditions, and frequent landslides, our team demonstrated resilience and teamwork to deliver quality educational infrastructure.
This endeavor was more than construction; it was a commitment to community development. By providing modern classrooms, toilets, and water systems, we have empowered children with access to safe and quality education.
The project’s success was made possible by the collaboration of our team, local communities, and stakeholders. Together, we overcame challenges to create lasting change for Okhaldhunga’s future generations.
